Let's Get This Party Started

Ok, it looks like we are all set up... now let's get down to business. I thought I would go over the basics of what we have so far, and we can go from there... sound like a plan? Good.

Actors:
Megan Davidson - star of the show (no? ok just kidding) - suspect... or...star suspect, whichever
John Gnann - suspect, possible victim #2
Cris Cox - suspect
Kendra Freeland - possible announcer and/or Event Coordinator
Lori Anderson - suspect
Arthur Anderson - suspect
Jeff Mishoe(?) - possible victim #1
Nancy George(?) - suspect
Brian George(?) - possible detective and/or MC
((Insert High School Student's name here))(?) - possible suspect

*Where are we at w/ finding out if Nancy and Brian are interested in participating? I will double check to make sure Jeff still wants to participate too.
*How do we want to work the High School student's possible role into this? Kendra didn't you say there were a few people who had expressed an interest in participating?

Basic Plans for the evening:
6:30-7 Pre-dinner mingling
7-?? Appetizer, dinner, dessert
??-?? Karaoke
??-10(?) Dancing/Costume Contest(?)/Announcing actual 'killer'

As far as scene development, we discussed having several set ups during the evening linking the 'core actors' to the 'victim' as possible suspects. Jeff would be the first one killed, and then perhaps set up John as a 'main suspect', and then he gets killed - possibly via poisoned dart shot to the neck during heated karaoke battle.
We will need to come up with each of the character's motivations to being a possible suspect. Does anyone have any ideas so far, either for their own characters, or for the group in general?
We also talked about having 'fundraisers' during the evening's festivities (people being put in jail for a 'fee'). It seems like we talked about doing another fundraiser when we were at Birra Poretti's, but I can't remember now(??).
